Best menudo I've had in a while. Great food. Good portions. Cheap prices.

Literally, the best salsa and chips I've ever eaten. However, the sour cream chicken enchiladas were less than memorable. Very dry. Service was great!

Good food. Great chips and salsa. I asked for an extra enchilada on my plate and they wanted $4. To me that’s just too expensive and so it drops my rating.

Never Again! I’m done with Garcia’s Mexican restaurant, especially in Kyle TX. This is the second time they have done this to me when I order take out. I have ordered twice chicken fajita nachos and each time they have been missing the ingredients such as sour cream and avocado, not only that I ask for sliced jalapeños, which cost extra, on the side and I don’t get them, Twice.Not only that each time the tortilla chips which are used, they are burnt crisp. These nachos are Not cheap. When I pick up the order they read my order to me, its correct when they read it, but I get home and I’m missing everything except for the nachos. I should be able trust that my order is right especially if they read my order to me and it was correct. I call them and go back for them to correct it. I don’t want to run around I just want to sit down and eat.I rate Garcia’s the lowest rating possible. I hate it gets even a one star now.NO MORE GARCIA’S. I’m DONE

Upgraded my review to a 4 star from a previous 3. Went for breakfast place was packed and for good reason. Food here today was sensational. Ordered the eggs Mexicana with bacon and a barbacoa taco. Everything was cooked to perfection. The cook today took pride in his cooking you could really tell. Will be back again and our waitress was amazing. Great job today

Garcia's is always a great place for a meal. My wife and I went to a movie and decided on an early dinner. We were in immediately and served drinks within about 2 min after sitting down. We knew basically what we wanted so ordered and 10 min or less had our meals. Food was hot and very good and entire stop was very short. Staff was very polite and very quick with any needs.

Very clean. Good food. Nothing fancy.

My favorite place to eat when I'm in San Marcos. I squeezed in a visit to the original location and the newer location within the week I was there for Thanksgiving. Everything is super good but my go to is the chicken tortilla soup with a bean & cheese chalupa. Breakfast tacos are on point too.

Food is beyond fabulous!! Chips and salsa are the best around in my book. Enchiladas are the great. I gave visited all 4 local locations. I have never had a bad plate, experience, wait time or bad service. My husband and I have been going to this family chain of restaurants for over 10 years.

Good food and I have been going here for a long time. They have some issues currently and I had to walk out. I hope it gets better

This is one amazing Mexican restaurant. My wife and I loved the homemade food. The staff are very friendly. Service is great. Worth the trip to San Marcos.

The pics should speak for themselves. We eat here at least 5 ( five) times a week.Slow your roll when packaging. We live 15 miles away and cannot come back for a correction. Normally your spot on, but you dropped the ball ( or should I say- the beans ) on this one. We'll see ya soon .

Had no complaints at all. Good food, good service and fair prices. Will visit again.

Chile Rellenos are outstanding and the best I've had in a long time. Our family enjoyed their meal also.

After a scattering start, they rebounded very nicely. It took 3 different servers to take my order. Everyone was nice, they worked together but may lacked a direction. Food is very good hence the rebound. Had the special of the day.

We come here whenever were in San Marcos!! Food is like homemade and at a great price! Stop by if youre passing through and looking for a great hidden gem!

Good service, the food was so-so, and the portions were a little bit small. Not the best if you are feeling a bigger appetite, but not bad either. Smartly located next to a gym, but a little bit off of the beaten path so not as easily accessible as some of the other taco places in the area.

Service is AWESOME, food is great. Clean kitchen, clean bathroom, clean beer. What more could one ask for?

I think this is good restaurant. All around the wait staff were really nice and the food was good at a decent price. I got three adult plates and two kids meals for under 50.00. I was in a hurry and the staff accommodate my request and had us in and out in under 40 minutes.

Good food, plenty of parking. Kinda missing the Mexican Chile in the two dishes we had (chicken fajitas and brisket plate) but they were enjoyable.

With the abundance of mexican food joints in this town. Garcia's is one of the best. Good prices. Standard mexican American food. Friendly staff. The lighting is a bit bright for my liking though

Disappointed... Food was Americanized Mexican, was expecting authentic/traditional Mexican... Items made with ground hamburger instead of shredded picadillo beef. Charro beans were good. Tried three different dishes; all were quite salty. Chili relleno was the best, but would have rather had shredded beef instead of ground beef. They ran out of brisket. Portion size good, but prices a little high for the quality of food made. Service staff good/friendly.

The food was outstanding service top of the best. Location easy to find plenty parking. When in San Marcos TX you need to try Garcia's you can't go wrong.

I needed to wait to eat, so you know I had to check this place out. The staff was wonderful the price per plate was affordable. Can't wait to try more off the menu untill I find the best plate to eat.

Great atmosphere prices decent. Food great taste. Wait time wasn't long we got to table under 15 mins.
